Levitra Super Active Plus is a gelatinous capsule and is meant to be used orally. It helps in treating erectile dysfunction.

Usage

Levitra Super Active Plus works best when taken 2minutes before any sexual activity in a dose of 10mg.
Levitra Super Active Plus should only be used orally. You may choose to take it with a meal or without one.
Sexual stimulation is essential for Levitra Super Active Plus to take effect.
For people who are above 65 years the use of this medicine is allowed in reduced quantity of 5 mg doses.
Levitra Super Active Plus should not be used in children.

Drug Class and Mechanism

Levitra Super Active Plus amplifies the effect of endogenous NO, which is released locally in the corpus cavemosum of the male organ, when sexually stimulated. Thus Levitra Super Active Plus enhances the reaction to sexual stimulation.

Missed Dose

Despite your best attempts at remembering, if you still miss out on a dose, then take it as soon as you remember about it. But keep in mind that you will have to adjust your next dose by spacing it out by 4 to 5 hours. If this is not possible, then the best thing to do would be to skip the missed dose and continue with your normal dosage schedule.

Never try to compensate for the missed dose by taking a double dose together. It may cause adverse effects.

Storage

Store Levitra Super Active Plus at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Always keep it in a cool dark place that is not directly exposed to sources of heat or moisture and sunlight. Protect it from kids and pets.

Safety Information
Before you start treatment with any new medication, discuss your past medical history in detail with your doctor. Also mention in detail any and all drugs that you are taking including vitamins, herbal prescriptions, over the counter medications or prescription drugs. The medicine has the properties of that of a vasodilator and may cause mild and transient decrease in blood pressure. Patients who have ventricular outflow obstruction, e.g., aortic stenosis and idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis can be highly sensitive to vasodilators.
Please mention to your doctor if you have suffered from or are suffering from medical conditions like congenital QT prolongation (long QT syndrome) and those taking Class IA (e.g., quinidine, procainamide) or Class III (e.g., amiodarone, sotalol) antiarrhythmic medications. In such cases it is better to avoid the drug.
Do not use Levitra Super Active Plus if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it or if you are sensitive to the action of vasodilators including Type 5 phosphodiesterase inhibitors. Also avoid using the drug if you have severe hepatic impairment, end stage renal disease requiring dialysis, hypotension (resting systolic blood pressure of < 90 mmHg), recent history of stroke or myocardial infarction (within last 6 months), unstable angina, and known hereditary degenerative retinal disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa.
Special caution must be maintained patients with anatomical deformation of the penis (such as angulation, cavernosal fibrosis or Peyronie's disease) or in patients who have conditions which may predispose them to priapism (such as sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma or leukaemia) while using this medicine.
